-weighted bottoms to retain and distribute heat evenly
-durably glazed interiors will stay scratch proof and easy to clean
-drip lines allow juices to drip back into the vessel after steaming up to the lid = acting like a traditional ‘Tagine’.
-steam vent in lid
Casserole 1- 20cm wide x 15cm tall with lid (Holds ~8 cups)
Casserole 2- 21cm x 12cm (Holds ~10 cups)
As with all handmade items, variation in size, shape and colouration is inevitable and part of the inherent charm of the product.
Dishwasher, Microwave and Oven safe.
* Always add food and then add the vessel to a cold oven before heating. Thermal shock may damage ANY clay vessel. Not recommended for freezer use when filled.
