Grounded in the ancient beauty of the Niagara Escarpment and the enduring bedrock of the Canadian Shield, my work is shaped by landscapes that have stood for millennia. Yet, these same landscapes bear the marks of loss — habitats erased, escarpment corridors fractured — under the relentless extraction of gravel and other resources. I create to hold space for both awe and grief, to honour the resilience of these environments while questioning the human appetites that diminish them. Through my art, I seek to make visible the quiet persistence of the land, and the urgent need to protect what remains.
